[FIC] ... for
lovestrashbags, as promised
Nov. 8th, 2010 07:40 pmThe first time he stayed, he had to remind her that she'd promised not to throw things as she was throwing them. It took nearly an hour to calm her down.
The second, he was in the bathroom when she woke up, and though she was a little disoriented by the extra objects in the room, she managed to read far enough into her Daily List that she wasn't too startled when he came back into her bedroom. That didn't stop her from scrambling out of the bed and staring at him until he realized that he was just wearing his boxers and hat.
They laughed about it over breakfast.
It was the third time that he stayed that everything changed. They'd gone to lunch, had tried ice skating again before she made a very simple dinner consisting of spaghetti and chocolate milk.
It was Thursday, after all.
When her alarm went off very early on Friday morning, Amy snuggled deeper under her down blanket and groaned. Why had she set an alarm? Then she remembered.
Rolling over, she pushed her long red hair out of her face and then burrowed into his back, sliding her arm around his waist, her words muffled. "Turn it off, Murdock. It's too early to get up."
Later, she wouldn't know what had happened. There would be panic. But for a very brief moment... she remembered.
